Welcome to The Golf Club Great Britain
Now established for 22 years, The Golf Club Great Britain provides membership and an internatinally recognised handicapping scheme to thousands of golfers both in the UK and around the world, giving all golfers the opportunity to play on top level courses, many offering members discounted green fees. Over 16,000 handicaps have been processed since 1986 and many of our original members are still with us today. Handicaps are calculated and adjusted in exactly the same way as would be at any private Club. Ladies handicaps are also calculated under current ladies rules.
You handicap is printed on a plastic membership card and is valid for a year.
Your handicap card is essential, particularly in the great golfing destinations such as Spain and Portugal. The scheme is open to golfers of all abilities, all you need to do is submit three scorecards marked and signed by your fellow player. Cards can be from different courses from anywhere in the world.
Memberships are normally processed within 2-4 days but if really urgent, we will fax a letter to any golf club confirming your handicap, immediately on receipt of your scorecards. You can either post, fax or email katebrown@golfclubgb.co.uk your scorecards to us at the time of joining, or if you need to get your three cards together, send them in once you have received your membership pack.
